"Edzo's was featured in a Chicago Tribune article about the best burgers in the 'burbs. Having never been there, we decided to right our wrongs and head to Evanston for dinner.

 

I ordered the 4-ounce patty melt and garlic fries. Before the garlic fries were even on the table, I had professed my love for them. The fries were crisp and hot; the smother of garlicky goodness only made them better. The patty melt was really good. The rye bread was fresh and the onions were grilled to perfection.

 

My husband had a triple griddle burger with blue cheese, grilled onions, and ketchup. I assume he liked it because he basically inhaled it. We'll definitely be back. In the meantime, I'll be writing love letters to those garlic fries."
